While Morehead put up plenty of  runs on Friday, the same  can't be said for North Forsyth. The Panthers put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp  16-0 victory. With that  win, the Panthers brought their scoring average up to 6.4  runs per game.
 Saillie Aheron was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she  struck out eight batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in 12 consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 3-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Dayln Hutchens was a standout: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with three  runs, one  triple,  and one  double. That  triple was  her first of the season.  Aubrey Easley was another key player,  going a perfect 1-for-1 with four  RBI, one  triple,  and one  stolen base.
 Morehead  hit smart and  finished the game with only one  strikeout. They are  a perfect 4-0 when  they post two or more  strikeouts.
The  victory made it two in a row for Morehead and  bumps their season record up to 6-9. The  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 16.5 runs over those games. As for North Forsyth,  they are  on  a  22-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.
 Coming up, Morehead will square off against West Stokes at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for North Forsyth, they will take on Parkland at 5:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
