The Plainview Indians had to hit the road for their first game and sadly it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 44-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of Tuttle. Plainview has not had much luck with Tuttle recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
When it comes to explaining why Plainview lost on Friday, one person who can't be blamed is Jacelyn Hammon. Despite the final result, she scored 19 points. Another player making a difference was Emilee Hedger, who scored 5 points.
Plainview's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Tuttle, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Plainview will take on Seminole at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tuttle, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Blanchard at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
