Scranton came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Holy Redeemer Royals.

Scranton's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Thor Kelly, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base. Kelly is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

Scranton pushed their record up to 5-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Holy Redeemer, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 6-1.

Coming up, Scranton will be playing at home against Scranton Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Holy Redeemer, they will head out on the road to take on MMI Preparatory School at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
