The Grand County Red Devils lost against the Judge Memorial Catholic Bulldogs back in September of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Grand County took a 27-19 hit to the loss column at the hands of Judge Memorial Catholic.
When it comes to explaining why Grand County lost, one person who can't be blamed is JT Dowd. Despite the final result, he rushed for 98 yards and three touchdowns.
Judge Memorial Catholic can attribute much of their success to Tyrese Boyce, who rushed for 103 yards and a touchdown on only nine carries, and also picked up 50 receiving yards. Boyce was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 50 yards.
Grand County has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season. As for Judge Memorial Catholic, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-7.
Grand County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Judge Memorial Catholic will take on San Juan at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. San Juan is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
