The Woodbury Royals's six-game losing streak came to an end on Monday. They walked away with a 68-58 victory over North. The victory was just what Woodbury needed coming off of a 79-52 defeat in their prior match.
Several Polars players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brevin Conway, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Ramadan Hassan, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds.
The win got Woodbury back to even at 8-8. As for North, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-8.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Woodbury will take on Stillwater at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Stillwater's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last six matches. As for North, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Tartan at 7:00 p.m. on January 25th. Tartan presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than North in Minnesota (Tartan is ranked 26th, while North is ranked 230th).
