Even though the Wayland Warriors scored an imposing 57 points on Monday, the Diman RVT Bengals still came out on top. In a tight contest that could have gone either way, Diman RVT made off with a 58-57 win over Wayland.
Diman RVT got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Sam Perry out in front who scored 20 points. Anthony DeJesus was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.
The victory got Diman RVT back to even at 1-1. As for Wayland, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-1.
Diman RVT will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Old Colony RVT at 6:30 p.m. on December 28th. As for Wayland, they will head out on the road to face off against Weston at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
