There's no place like home for Calhoun, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They came out on top against the Browning Panthers by a score of 9-4 on Wednesday. With that victory, the Cougars brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.

Jerve' Atsin was excellent, scoring a run while going 1-for-2. Another player making a difference was Anthony Pasquariello, who scored two runs while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

Calhoun now has a winning record of 3-2-1. As for Browning, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Calhoun didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 20-5 win against Grace Church School on the 10th. As for Browning, they will square off against Riverdale Country at 3:45 p.m. on the 17th.
