Turtle Lake won the last time they faced Frederic and things went their way on Thursday too. The Lakers skirted past the Vikings 3-2.

Turtle Lake was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The final score came out to 24-26, 25-16, 22-25, 25-17, 15-9.

Ava Mau paced Turtle Lake's offense, picking up 12 kills. Mau got some help from Lacey Popenhagen and her 37 assists.

Turtle Lake's win bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Frederic, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.
