Springfield's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Noah Vogel, who went 6 for 10 from beyond the arc en route to 22 points and 0 assists, and Brayden Sturm who scored 18 points along with three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaac Fredin, who scored eight points.
Minnesota Valley Lutheran pushed their record up to 4-0 with that win, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 21.69 points. As for Springfield, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Minnesota Valley Lutheran will head out on the road to face off against Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Minnesota Rankings (they are ranked 280th, while Minnesota Valley Lutheran is ranked 38th). Springfield will be home for the holidays to greet B O L D at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
