Green River had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 31.2 points) and they went ahead and made it seven on Tuesday. They blew past the Pinnacle Panthers 71-40. The Pirates have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 29 points or more this season.

Green River's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Antonio Macias, who dropped a double-double on 27 points and 11 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Macias a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Rolando Anguiano, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten boards.

Green River was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Pinnacle only posted eight assists.

Several Panthers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brody Howell, who posted 13 points and three blocks. Diego Contreras was another key player, putting up nine points and eight boards.

Green River pushed their record up to 9-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.0 points per game. As for Pinnacle, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10.

Green River will venture away from home to challenge Escalante at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Green River knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matchups -- so hopefully Escalante likes a good challenge. As for Pinnacle, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 63-42 defeat against Monticello on the 10th.
