Even though the Jordan Red Jackets scored an imposing 60 points on Tuesday, the Brookstone Cougars still came out on top. Brookstone walked away with a 68-60 victory over Jordan. Given Brookstone's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 205th, while Jordan is ranked 440th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Among those leading the charge was Thomas Henderson, who scored 20 points. Another player making a difference was Chapman Dykes, who scored 12 points.
The victory makes it two in a row for Brookstone and bumps their season record up to 6-2. As for Jordan, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brookstone will take on Columbus at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Columbus focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Tuesday. As for Jordan, they will head out on the road to face off against Shaw at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
