Kennedy has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. The Kennedy Crusaders and the Christ the King Gladiators will face off at 11:00 a.m. on January 27th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Thursday, Kennedy beat Brooks 44-32.
Meanwhile, Christ the King waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins but they left with three. They took down Cristo Rey Jesuit 44-27.
Kennedy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 14-7 record this season. As for Christ the King, their win bumped their record up to 17-7.
Kennedy suffered a grim 53-27 defeat to Christ the King in their previous matchup back in January of 2023. Can Kennedy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
