Woodson came into Wednesday's matchup having lost 11 straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They blew past the Bell Griffins, posting a 72-26 win. The Warriors' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Several Griffins players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cire Wilson, who posted four points and 12 rebounds. Wilson is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down nine or more in the last seven games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Jermon Holliman, who earned eight points and eight rebounds.

Woodson's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Bell, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Woodson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 70-43 loss against Bard on the 20th. As for Bell, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 60-59 win against Anacostia on the 20th.
