Volleyball Recap: Kenna Perry and Elsie Jones Secure Win for Herriman

There's no place like home for Herriman, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They blew past the Copper Hills Grizzlies 3-0 on Tuesday. This was payback for the Mustangs, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

While Herriman won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-23, 25-19.

Leading Herriman to victory were Elsie Jones and Kenna Perry. Jones had 15 digs and five assists, while Perry had four digs and three aces. Those four digs gave Perry a new career-high.

Herriman is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. As for Copper Hills, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Herriman wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Westlake on the 11th. As for Copper Hills, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Riverton on the 11th.
