On Saturday, Lincoln Southeast came up short against the Thunderbirds and fell 58-50. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Lincoln Southeast in their matchups with the Thunderbirds: they've now lost three in a row.
Meanwhile, Omaha Westside's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They fell 52-43 to Marian.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Kimora Jenkins, who scored eight points. The team also got some help courtesy of Elise Pederson, who scored five points along with five rebounds and five blocks.
Lincoln Southeast's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-4. As for Omaha Westside, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-9.
Lincoln Southeast didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against the Warriors in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, but they still walked away with a 53-49 win.
