The Christian Learning Center Mustangs lost against the Heartland Mustangs back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Christian Learning Center took a hard 50-33 fall against the Mustangs. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Christian Learning Center has scored all season.
Christian Learning Center's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Ryan Koch, who scored seven points along with eight rebounds and two blocks, and Lane Milburn who scored nine points along with five rebounds and two steals. Milburn hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games.
It was another big night for Diego Martinez, who scored seven points along with 11 steals and eight rebounds for Heartland. Martinez is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last 12 games he's played. Jayce Maiden was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with seven rebounds.
Christian Learning Center now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Heartland, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-6.
Christian Learning Center does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Heartland will head out on the road to take on the Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Clinton Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 last Thursday.
