Grand County is 0-7 against North Sevier since January of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Grand County Red Devils on the road again and play against the North Sevier Wolves at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th. Hopefully Grand County focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 33 on Tuesday.
Grand County suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They took a serious blow against North Summit, falling 65-32. While losing is never fun, Grand County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Utah basketball rankings (they are ranked 83rd, while North Summit is ranked 16th).
Trinity Bryant put forth a good effort for the losing side as she scored 13 points along with four steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played.
Meanwhile, North Sevier lost to Duchesne on the road by a decisive 62-44 margin last Thursday. North Sevier has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Grand County's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for North Sevier, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-10.
Grand County opened the new year with a less-than-successful 45-38 defeat to North Sevier. Can Grand County avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
