The Tri County Northeast Wolfpack kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They were outmatched by Crofton on the road and fell 74-16. Tri County Northeast has struggled against Crofton recently, as their match on Thursday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Tri County Northeast got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of
Shantel Miller and
Joslyn Mackling, who each put up five points.
Tri County Northeast's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Crofton, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.
Tri County Northeast will look to defend their home court on Friday against Bloomfield. As for Crofton, they will head out on the road to face off against Laurel-Concord-Coleridge at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Laurel-Concord-Coleridge focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Thursday.
