Hopefully Tabernacle Christian is not getting complacent, as they presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Union Grove Christian in North Carolina (Tabernacle Christian is ranked 169th, while Union Grove Christian is ranked 430th).
Tabernacle Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 22 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Woodland Baptist Christian 53-26 at home. The win was just what Tabernacle Christian needed coming off of a 67-41 defeat in their prior match.
Meanwhile, everything went Union Grove Christian's way against Bethel Christian Academy on Saturday as Union Grove Christian made off with a 46-23 win. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Union Grove Christian has managed all season.
Sara Long continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds. Those 17 points set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Klaira Cromer , who scored eight points along with six assists.
Tabernacle Christian's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.3 points per game. As for Union Grove Christian, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-8.
