The First Baptist Crusaders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 22 points or more this season. They claimed a resounding 74-36 victory over Chisago Lakes Baptist on the road. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 37-14.
Levi Borner was his usual excellent self, scoring 25 points along with nine rebounds and seven assists. That's the first time this season that he pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jared Dudek , who scored ten points along with eight rebounds and three blocks.
First Baptist's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-5. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.7 points per game. As for Chisago Lakes Baptist, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-2.
First Baptist does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Chisago Lakes Baptist won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Cambridge Christian at 6:30 p.m. on December 19th.
