North Murray gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They came out on top against the Dalton Catamounts by a score of 49-42. That's more bragging rights for the Mountaineers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Hudson Hulett went supernova, rushing for 342 yards and five TDs while picking up 12.2 yards per carry, and also picking up 78 receiving yards. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (177.1). Another player making a difference was Anthony Skojac, who picked up 96 receiving yards and one touchdown.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: North Murray was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 432 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 150 rushing yards in 12 consecutive contests dating back to last season.

North Murray is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Northwest Whitfield at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
