Millard North was the  3-2 winner over Fremont when they last played one another  back in October of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. The Millard North Mustangs took  a  2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fremont Tigers on Saturday.
 While Millard North was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-20,  25-24.
 Despite the  defeat, Millard North had strong showings from  Kenzie Kucks, who  had 15  digs, and  Hayden Sliva, who  had 11  digs. Kucks is  on a roll when it comes to  digs, as she's  now  had ten or more in the last 15 games she's  played dating back to last season.
 Fremont can attribute much of their success to  McKinzie Brandt, who  had 12  digs.
 Millard North's loss dropped their record down to 15-13. As for Fremont, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won 17 of their last 20 contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 23-5 record  this season.
 Millard North is on the road again  on Monday to play Westview at 7:00  p.m. Fremont does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
