Gavin Markey Dazzles in Jefferson Win
Starting off the list is Jefferson's Gavin Markey, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Markey rushed for 123 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries, and also threw for 125 yards and two touchdowns on only nine passes. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 105 rushing yards.

Cherokee Bluff pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. Thompson and Cherokee Bluff will take on Oconee County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
