Daleville and Wes-Del are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2017, but likely not for long. The Broncos will take on the Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Daleville is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.7 runs per game this season.
Daleville was handed a eight-run loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 11-10 win over Southern Wells.

Noah Colvin and Ayden Ramirez were major factors while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Colvin tossed three innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off only two hits. Meanwhile, Ramirez pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Colvin has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. At the plate, Colvin went 2-for-5 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two doubles, while Ramirez went 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Those two doubles gave Colvin a new career-high.
In other pitching news, Tripp Pitts looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over three innings while giving up just one earned (and five unearned) runs off four hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April.
Back at the plate, Brayden Sigler was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. Jordan Greene also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
Daleville kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Alexandria-Monroe hit Wes-Del with a eight-run seventh inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Warriors came up short against the Tigers, falling 13-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Warriors have suffered against the Tigers since May 9, 2016.
Wes-Del saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carter Flynn, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.
The victory got Daleville back to even at 8-8. As for Wes-Del, their loss dropped their record down to 7-12.
