The Jones Longhorns entered their tilt with the Kellyville Ponies with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. Jones breezed by Kellyville at home to the tune of 57-0. The result was nothing new for Jones, who have now won five contests by 22 points or more so far this season.
Isaiah Sawyer was his usual excellent self, rushing for 105 yards and three touchdowns. Sawyer was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 65 yards. Acyn Hansen was another key contributor, rushing for 70 yards and a touchdown.
Jones' win was their sixth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 7-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 42.0 points per game. As for Kellyville, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.
