A Season-Best Performance from Calvin Carraher Leads Franklin over Blue Hill
Franklin was led to victory by Calvin Carraher, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Carraher rushed for 355 yards and seven touchdowns while picking up 17.8 yards per carry, and also threw for 116 yards on eight of 15 attempts. The effort marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 61 yards.

He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last five games he's played.

Adam Denkert continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his fourth-straight game with at least 113 rushing yards. On Friday, Franklin got the W thanks in part to Caiden Peterman playing the best football he has all season. Peterman rushed for 128 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 71-yard run.
On the season, Peterman has run in those 1 touchdown while averaging 54.9 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 6.43 rushing yards per game.
