Huron was forced to take a big loss against they on Saturday, they got the better of them on Saturday. They blew past the St. Mary Catholic Central Falcons/Kestrels 12-4. The Chiefs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 16 contests by six runs or more this season.

Cash Muzzy was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Muzzy was also solid in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Noah Banas, who went 2-for-4 with three runs and three RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April. Dominic Russo was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double.

Huron is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for St. Mary Catholic Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-7-1.

Huron and St. Mary Catholic Central should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. The Chiefs will take on Carlson at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (17 vs. 163). Meanwhile, St. Mary Catholic Central (ranked 103rd) will meet Blissfield (ranked 443rd) at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
