Meanwhile, Skyline narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Mount Si 4-3.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Ryan Tobler, who went 2-for-2 with two RBI and a double. Another player making a difference was Dylan Ludwigsen, who scored a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
