Wabash River recap Oct. 9, 2012
The biggest upset of the week belonged to North Vermillion, who took down 91st ranked Fountain Central, 25-21.
The Falcons extended the longest winning streak in Wabash River this week by beating the Mustangs, 25-21. The victory was the eighth in a row for North Vermillion.
Attica's dynamic duo of Brady Sheridan and Michael Green proved tough for Bismarck-Henning to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Sheridan threw for six yards and Green had six yards receiving.
Tyler Knoblett was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 116 yards on eight carries as Rockville lost to the Blue Devils. Ben Cunningham also contributed to the rushing game with 86 yards on the ground.
Attica's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Red Ramblers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Sheridan has thrown for 477 yards and four touchdowns this season, while J.R. Dunwell has 10 catches for 139 yards. Carson Davis leads the league in rushing with 588 yards.
A big matchup in Wabash River this week will be when Seeger takes on the Falcons. The Patriots are currently in fourth, while North Vermillion is in first.
The Rox took down Riverton Parke 32-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Knoblett in the win.
