The Shenandoah Zeps were the 60-48 winner over the Catholic Central Crusaders when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Shenandoah fell just short of Catholic Central by a score of 49-47.
Catholic Central was led to victory by Benjamin Rook and Tommy Pergi. Rook scored 15 points along with two steals, while Pergi scored 18 points. Rook is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last six games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Hayden Cihon, who scored seven points along with two steals.
Shenandoah's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Catholic Central, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.
Shenandoah and Caldwell will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 30th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Catholic Central, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Frontier at 6:00 p.m. on January 27th.
