The Community Christian Academy Warriors will head out to take on the Pinnacle Classical Academy Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Community Christian Academy sitting on eight straight wins and Pinnacle Classical Academy on five.
On April 8th, Community Christian Academy got the win against Christian Family Academy by a conclusive 13-1. Considering the Warriors have won five matches by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Aiden Thomas made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He struck out eight batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Landon Norman, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with seven RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2024. Cole Richardson was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.
Community Christian Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in six consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Pinnacle Classical Academy made easy work of The Master's Academy on Monday and carried off a 15-5 victory. Considering the Eagles have won six contests by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Like Community Christian Academy, Pinnacle Classical Academy also got a great game from a two-way player: Tyler Johnson. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing four innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. Johnson was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.
In other batting news, Pinnacle Classical Academy got a massive performance out of Keegan McIntyre, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Holden Austin also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.
Community Christian Academy pushed their record up to 10-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Pinnacle Classical Academy, their record now sits at 10-2.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Thursday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Community Christian Academy has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 10.7 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Pinnacle Classical Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 8.4 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
Community Christian Academy was able to grind out a solid win over Pinnacle Classical Academy when the teams last played back in March, winning 6-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
