The Northeast Metro RVT Knights lost to the Minuteman Regional Minuteman back in December of 2023, but the Northeast Metro RVT Knights didn't allow the Minuteman Regional Minuteman the same satisfaction on Wednesday. Northeast Metro RVT came out on top against Minuteman Regional by a score of 60-52. The win made it back-to-back wins for Northeast Metro RVT.
Chris Zullo was his usual excellent self, scoring 26 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. That's the first time this season that he pulled down eight or more rebounds. Another player making a difference was Richard Cardoso, who scored nine points along with 12 rebounds and five steals.
Northeast Metro RVT's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Minuteman Regional, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-3.
Northeast Metro RVT will take on Academy of Notre Dame at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Minuteman Regional, they will head out on the road to take on Nashoba Valley Tech at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Nashoba Valley Tech is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.
