Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Alisal couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They lost  10-4 to the San Mateo Bearcats on Saturday. It was the first time  this season that Alisal let down their fans at home.

 On San Mateo's side,  Nia Mapa made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she  tossed seven innings while giving up just one earned  (and three unearned) runs off   five  hits. Mapa was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 3-for-4 with five  RBI, two  doubles,  and a  run.
 In other batting news,  Hailey Wallweber was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4.  Alice Han was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
 Alisal's loss  ended  a  13-game streak of wins at home  dating back to last season and  dropped them to 20-4. As for San Mateo, the  victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-11.
 Alisal does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for San Mateo, they will be staying on the road  on Tuesday to face off against Everett Alvarez. San Mateo will be hoping to continue their four-game streak of scoring more  runs each  match than the last.
