The Berlin Redcoats and the Rockville Rams squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but sadly the Berlin Redcoats had to settle for second. They and the Rams were almost perfectly matched up, but they suffered an agonizing 14-13 loss. Berlin was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Rockville apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in December of 2022.
Berlin's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jon jon Morales, who picked up 79 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Amir Knighton continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Rockville, rushing for 146 yards and a touchdown.
Berlin's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Rockville, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-1.
Berlin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Rockville will take on Holy Cross at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday.
