Several Highlanders players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Matt Hernandez, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Korryn Barnes, who scored six points along with 12 rebounds.
Turner is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season. As for Bel Air, they now have a losing record at 8-9.
Turner will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Wakeland at 2:45 p.m. on January 2nd. Bel Air and Canutillo will face off at 7:30 p.m. on January 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. One thing working in Canutillo's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three matches.
