Basketball Recap: Dover Piles Up the Points Against North

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Dover). They breezed by the North Vikings to the tune of 68-29 on Tuesday. Given the Crimson Tornadoes' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 204th, while the Vikings are ranked 790th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Dover has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for North, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dover will head out to take on Ashland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North, they will take on Firestone at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. North is facing Firestone at the right time seeing as Firestone is stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
