The Moody Blue Devils will head out on the road to face off against the Scottsboro Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Two weeks ago, Moody earned a 34-21 victory over Southside.
Moody's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Charlie Johnston, who threw for 201 yards and two touchdowns while completing 81.3% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Blaine Burke and his 88 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Moody's win.
Meanwhile, Scottsboro strolled past Decatur with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 35-20.
Moody has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. As for Scottsboro, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 8-2.
