Pace is a perfect 10-0 against Donna North since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Vikings will look to defend their home field against the Chiefs at 6:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Pace has 15 straight wins, Donna North has 14 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
If Pace beats Donna North with 17 runs on Friday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. The Vikings blew past Porter 17-2 on Tuesday. Considering the Vikings have won 15 games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Nubia Alvarado was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 18 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and four RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in February.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Maya Galvan, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Valeria Alvarado, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs.
Pace always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .545. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Porter only posted an OBP of .400.
Meanwhile, Donna North fell victim to Rivera and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Raiders, falling 20-0.

Donna North's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Pace hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .402. It's a different story for Donna North, though, as they've only averaged .214. Will they be able to contain Pace's hitters?
Everything went Pace's way against Donna North when the teams last played back in March, as Pace made off with a 16-0 win. Do the Vikings have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Chiefs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
