Lincoln put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They secured a 52-48 W over the Papillion-LaVista Monarchs. The 52-point effort marked the Lynx's lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Lincoln's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aiden Sandbothe, who posted 12 points and six rebounds. Braylin Dejager was another key player, going 7 of 12 on his way to 14 points.

Lincoln was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Papillion-LaVista only racked up seven assists.

Despite the defeat, Papillion-LaVista had strong showings from Sam Boudreau, who went 5 for 7 on his way to 14 points, and DeMarcus McCarty, who had 12 points and seven rebounds.

Lincoln pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Papillion-LaVista, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lincoln will head out to take on Sioux City North at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Sioux City North knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Lincoln likes a good challenge. As for Papillion-LaVista, they will venture away from home to face off against Millard North at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Millard North is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 65 points per game this season.
