In other batting news, Butler let Cherie Carter and Alyssa Rubidoux run wild. Carter went 5-for-6 with six RBI, two stolen bases, and three runs, while Rubidoux scored four runs and stole two bases while going 4-for-5. Those four runs gave Rubidoux a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Malea Williams, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 1-for-4.

Garinger beat Monroe by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 19-17. Winning may never get old, but the Wildcats sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.
The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 3-5. As for Butler, their record is now 4-8.
Butler took their victory against Garinger when the teams last played on March 4th by a conclusive 18-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for Butler since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
