Wheeler County  took care of business in their home opener  on Tuesday (and then some). They blew past the Treutlen Vikings 27-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bulldogs also won the last time the pair played  back in November of 2023.
 Among those leading the charge was   Shiann Carey, who threw for 92 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 41 yards. The dominant performance gave  her a new career-high in  rushing yards.

 Treutlen dropped their record down to 0-4 with the  loss, which was their fifth straight  on the road dating back to last season.
 Wheeler County has already played their next matchup,  a  39-0  win against Dooly County on the 30th. As for Treutlen, they also  wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next  match,  a  20-13  defeat against Hawkinsville on the 30th.
