Scarlett Sloma was huge no matter where she played even without the win. On the mound, she struck out 12 batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run. That run was her first of the season.
