Jose Escobar continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 25 points along with five steals. He hasn't dropped below five steals for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Mason Vela, who scored 14 points along with two steals.
Mission Veterans Memorial has traveled a rocky road recently having lost 13 of their last 14 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-18 record this season. As for Nixon, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-9.

A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Escobar, who dropped a double-double on 32 points and ten steals.
