Selinsgrove scored the most points they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 61-60 to the Jersey Shore Bulldogs. Even though they lost, the Seals' still made a splash on offense and bumped their average scoring up to 50.8 points per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Selinsgrove's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gavin Bastian, who posted 17 points. Another player making a difference was Xaivier Jackson, who put up 15 points.

This is the second loss in a row for Selinsgrove and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Jersey Shore, their victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-2.

Selinsgrove will take on Southern Columbia Area in a holiday battle at at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Selinsgrove is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.8 points per game this season. Jersey Shore and Milton will compete for holiday cheer at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Jersey Shore is facing Milton at the right time seeing as Milton is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
