Justin Davidov and Shea Holebrook provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Sleepy Hollow. The longest such play in Section 1 A - 2 this season, the connection resulted in 72 yards.
Rye extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Harrison, 8-2. The victory was the seventh in a row for the team.
The Horsemen's dynamic duo of Devin Lopez and Dante Ellis proved to be unstoppable against Ossining, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Lopez threw for 341 yards and 4 touchdowns and Ellis had 136 yards receiving. Anthony Curanaj helped Sleepy Hollow's passing attack out by catching 7 balls for 95 yards.
He was 20-27 with 1 interception.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Ossining's Davidov and James Johnson have proven to be a lethal combination. Davidov has thrown for 1,168 yards this season, while Johnson has 15 catches for 356 yards. Tauras Phillips from Beacon leads the league in rushing with 865 yards.
Hendrick Hudson moved up to 491 from 535 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Section 1 A - 2. The Sailors climbed the ranks as a result of defeating Croton-Harmon 21-7.
