Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Taylor County Bulldogs walked away with it. They blew past the War Eagles 82-47 at home on Tuesday. The win was just what Taylor County needed coming off of a 66-42 loss in their prior contest.
Leading Taylor County to victory were Louis Gaddy Jr. and Jakari Jackson. Gaddy Jr. scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and six steals, while Jackson scored 24 points along with seven assists and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jackson has scored all season. Trayce Abercrombie was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five steals.
Taylor County's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-9. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.8 points per game. As for Wakulla, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record this season.
Taylor County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Wakulla also has no future games currently scheduled.
