Handley hadn't done well against Millbrook recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Everything went the Handley Judges' way against the Millbrook Pioneers as the Handley Judges made off with a 67-45 win. The Judges have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 matches by 20 points or more this season.

When it comes to explaining why Millbrook lost, don't look at Jaliah Jackson. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double with 21 points and ten boards. Millbrook is 8-4 when Jackson posts ten or more rebounds, but 4-5 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Jane Moreland, who posted 11 points.

The victory (which was Handley's fifth in a row) raised their record to 17-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.8 points over those games. As for Millbrook, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 12-9 record this season.

Looking ahead, Handley will head out on the road to take on Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Handley's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games. As for Millbrook, they have already played their next match, a 62-60 defeat against Evergreen Christian on the 15th.
