The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Somonauk/Leland in their matchups with Plano: they've now lost four in a row.
Plano was led to victory by Chloe Rowe and Josie Larson. Rowe dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds, while Larson dropped a double-double on 25 points and 11 rebounds. The game was Larson's eighth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Sanai Young, who scored 5 points along with 7 assists and 7 steals.
Somonauk/Leland's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Plano, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-4.
