If South Plantation wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played St. Thomas Aquinas, they should've done a better job of containing Elijah Lam. The Raiders blew past the Paladins 3-0 on Tuesday for which the team can thank Lam, who had four digs and four aces. He is on a roll when it comes to aces, as he's now served four or more in each of the last five games he's played.

St. Thomas Aquinas never let South Plantation on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-14, 25-22.

St. Thomas Aquinas is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. As for South Plantation, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-4.

St. Thomas Aquinas wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Pompano Beach on the 17th. As for South Plantation, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Hollywood Hills on the 16th.
