Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Ethan Kihnel and Nathan Goodwin Lead Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy to Victory

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Willow, Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They blew past the Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy Tigers 45-25. That's more bragging rights for the Swamp Owls, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy was led to victory by Nathan Goodwin and Ethan Kihnel. Goodwin went 6 of 11 on his way to 14 points and seven steals, while Kihnel went 6 for 12 en route to 17 points along with six rebounds and three steals. That's the most steals Goodwin has posted since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Dimitris Galiatsos, who posted seven points and seven boards.
